Description
Watermelon Seedless Orange Per Each
Taste:
- Orange watermelons vary in size, and average 10 to 30 pounds in weight. The orange flesh is succulent, aqueous, crisp, and dense, and sometimes containing brown-black seeds or are seedless. Orange watermelons should feel heavy for their size when ripe. The fruits may also have a yellow spot on the underside of the watermelon, known as the belly.
- The spot on an unripe watermelon will be white, but if it is ripe, it will have a yellow tone. Orange watermelons have a delicate, mildly sweet flavor with subtle tropical, honeyed nuances.
Nutrition:
- Orange watermelons are a source of vitamin A, vitamin C to strengthen the immune system while reducing inflammation, and potassium. The fruits also contain magnesium to help control blood pressure and fiber to regulate the digestive tract.
Storage:
- Whole, ripe watermelon should be placed in the fridge to avoid over-ripening, allowing it to stay fresh for two to three more weeks. The cool temperature of the refrigerator will slow the ripening process. Unripe watermelon can be left at room temperature.
