Taste:

Strawberries have a very bright red pigment with tiny seeds covering the outside of the fruit. Strawberries that are not ripe will have a sour/tart taste, while those that are ripe can have a very sweet, almost candy-like flavor

Nutrition:

Strawberries are a great source of Vitamins C, A, and E. They also contain potassium, copper, manganese, iron, and iodine. The skin and flesh of the fruit contain antioxidants.

Storage:

Store unwashed strawberries in an open container with paper towels in the fridge to prevent the from drying out and to keep fresh for up to a week. Do not wash strawberries until they are ready to be eaten. Placing strawberries in the freezer will allow them to keep for up to 3 months.
